Social Media Training for Network Marketers with Sarah Robbins

The benefits of using social media for your business are endless, however the way you use this powerful tool can really hurt your reputation if you don’t use it properly. Social media training is an important step in the process of using the internet to get leads for your business. What is the first thing that comes to mind when you think of other networkers using social media? One word: SPAM. Even posts with the best intentions can come off as spam. Spamming gives the industry a bad name as a whole. So instead, educate yourself on how to use social media properly!

Sarah Robbins feels pretty strongly that a lot of negative feelings towards network marketing comes from lack of social media training. She urges her listeners to remember that there are certain things NOT to do when using the internet to get new leads for your business. One way she recommends using social media to her own team is to send out personal invitations. This doesn’t mean you should create a canned message and blast it to your entire friends list. That would be spamming! Instead, create a customized individual invitation to the people you would like to show your presentation to, add to a group, etc.
